Our Prints
All of the work in our
collection is available in a variety of sizes and can be reproduced
on your choice of ultra-heavy 100% cotton rag paper or semi-gloss,
water resistant canvas. We
use only the highest quality materials and all our reproductions
offer vibrant colour and archival longevity. Since every item is
made especially for you at the time of order, please allow up to
10 days for your item to be shipped.
Since many of original works do not necessarily
conform to a standard size, please note that image sizes do vary.
The measurements listed in the gallery represent the size of the
paper/canvas. The image is printed as large as possible with a
1 inch border for paper prints and a 1/4 inch border for canvases.
We normally ship our canvases rolled as this saves substantially
on shipping costs. A custom framer in your area will be able to stretch
it for you. However, if you prefer to receive your canvas ready to
hang, please let us know and we will advise you of the additional
cost.
What is Giclée? (Pronounced jhee-klay)
Originally developed in France in 1989,
the term Giclée, which means "to spray
ink", refers to an individually produced high-fidelity
reproduction of an original artwork. Produced from a digital scan,
the process involves spraying microscopic dots of archival quality
ink on acid free 100% cotton paper or canvas. Giclée prints
are coveted by collectors for their fidelity and quality and embraced
by galleries and artists alike because they so accurately reproduce
the original. In fact, the Metropolitan Museum in New York
City and the Louvre in Paris and are just some of the museums whose
collections include Giclée reproductions. |
