About Melissia Elisa Grosjean:

Melissia Elisa Grosjean is an emerging visual artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a 2007 graduate of Moore College of Art and Design's BFA program in Art History and 2-Dimensional Fine Arts. Her artwork has
been shown at the Knapp Gallery, in the the prestigious Philadelphia Old City art scene and at the Moore College Senior Show in 2007.

Her artwork has been described as a melding of abstraction and nature realism fused with harmonious and bold colors. Her sudden success as a butterfly painter has landed her a commission for the Philadelphia Four Seasons Hotel, creating a large installation of butterflies. She is fascinated with insects and will continue to draw and paint them from life and observation.
